Why us?

Avrio was founded by Andrew Michael and Natalie Masrujeh. Both Natalie and Andrew are serial founders and passionate problem solvers.

Andrew was previously the Head of Business Intelligence at Hotjar, a feedback and analytics company, it was at Hotjar where he became increasingly frustrated with how research and data analysis was conducted in silos, being repeated, and going to waste. He felt there was a better way and set off to build it. Andrew is a firm believer that user research and data analytics teams should not work in silos but rather as a single product insights team to help uncover the full picture when conducting research.

After years of trying to get Natalie to work with him on various projects it was Avrio that finally clicked with Natalie and she promptly responded with “do you want company” when Andrew originally pitched the idea to her.

Natalie was previously the Product Owner of Overflow, a product of and naturally felt the pain too. Natalie is a firm believer that doing the work is only half the job, and communicating what you’ve done and how you got there completes the job. Natalie is an engineer by trade and an entrepreneur at heart, Natalie has co-founded and served as CTO in startups across multiple industries.
